Didn't somebody say that Microsoft's Internet Explorer does NOT adhere to the protocols set up by Microsoft for browsing? Particularly the latest IE8. - Troubles viewing the Newsletter, for example? _________________ Dennis

Yes, but I foolishly use IE8 and get an 'error on page' icon at the bottom left, but it does not appear to affect the display of the page. But I expect that I have disabled the pop up somehow???? |

Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, Browsing
You can turn off the warnings about script errors and disable script debugging.
Site works fine under IE8 here (although with the Error icon present!) |

can you check a few of the news pages and the reviews / articles?

Why can't I edit my post?
It seems like it's possibly the fancy background as the only one that didn;t error had the 'old' background layout. |

That's how it is set up in this section only, so nothing to do with anything else.
You could have deleted the post, made your changes and reposted if you wanted.
But that needs to happen before any replies as the post will then be boxed in. |

Seems to be on most pages. This has only started in the last few weeks.
I have not changed any of my settings in IE, which is version 7 |
