If you use Thunderbird e-mail be warned this update is causing a lot of problems to many users.
I updated and lost all e-mails, address book, folders etc. and the Kaspersky anti-virus didn't work (although it did warn me).
By searching various help areas I re-installed v2.0.0.023 from computer active and got them all back _________________ HUAWEI P30 Pro (new edition) with Speedtrap Alert & alcatel1 for SatNav

i created my own profile folders for thunderbird (makes it easier to find them and therefore easier to back up!). as with anything major like this i'd recommend backing things up beforehand!
how does it seem to be coping in terms of add-ons? i use quite a few, rely on them in fact, so would need to check v3 compatibility first!

When I updated to v3 it lost all the add-ons. went to the add-on page found one for v3 that allowed folders to be displayed sub-divided but when installed it refused saying it was incompatable with v3.
I suspect there is something wrong with the v3 offered for downloading _________________ HUAWEI P30 Pro (new edition) with Speedtrap Alert & alcatel1 for SatNav
