Soft reset and give it another go. Assuming BT is ON on the 2210 you should be able to locate the Fortuna. Is it fully charged and not in XTRAC mode?

I also have fortuna clipon and 2210. The connection is definitely flaky.

Sometimes it only connects after a soft reset. Sometimes (quite often actually) it will ONLY connect in xtrac mode. Sometimes it won't connect at all.

I advise switch off the Fortuna and leave >10 seconds
Disable bluetooth on the iPAQ then reenable it.
Then try to reconnect.

If that doesn't work switch to xtrac mode and repeat the above. Does it connect? It is usuually here that if I switch back to normal mode it won't connect even though it connects in xtrac.

Normally after I have tried the above and a few soft resets it behaves itself for days or weeks. A lockup within TTNav or letting the fortuna battery drain all the way down usually make it misbehave again.

I know this all sounds like a load of cobblers but yesterday it took me 10 mins to get it to connect but once it did it worked perfectly for hours on end and again today!!!

On the positive side, mine has worked flawlessly and quickly every single time. Why the differences between units?

I to have connection probles with the fortun, up to 5 mins sometimes. Im running an XDA2 . i always run the battery completely dead before recharging. i cant really see how that would cause problems as the next time it tries to connect it will have full power:but ill give it a go anyway.

Running the battery flat isn't a good idea because this forces it to cold start on the next use i.e. the flat battery will wipe the almanac and ephemeris data it has downloaded and results in an extended fix whilst it re-aquires this data.
