|

Hi there, my venerable Navman N20 is still serving me well (even bought some new maps for it!), but I want to buy a new subscription for the PGPSW speedcam data. I have some existing PGPSW speed cam data on it from a couple of years ago (when you could subscribe monthly), but I would like to know if the file names for the cam data are still the same i.e. they will over-write any old cam data, or if they have changed, and would therefore sit alongside old data and potentially give me a mix of old and new data - NOT good!.
If the file names are different from a couple of years ago, can anyone tell me how to go about removing speedcam data before putting in the new data?

Hi,
In the Smart ST desktop, in the POI loader you can see all the installed custom poi's and easily delete them, thne installthe new poi's to avoid conflicting information |

One that has changed recently (well possibly about a year ago now ) is the "Temp" category. This is no longer used and can be deleted - the entries are now in the standard "Gatso" category.
As CaptainDrift noted, it will probably be easier to delete all the "pgpsw" files and start again to be sure you only have the current data. _________________ Gerry

Many thanks for that, it's so long since I've updated any POI's on my satnav that it hadn't occurred to me that I'd be able to view them in the POI loader and delete the old PGPSW files. Thanks for reminding me, and the pointer on the Temp files that are no longer valid. |
