|
|
I need a copy of the cline.dat file for my TT1 V5 Iq routes as my backup one is corrupt and my TT won't work without it. It is in the UK and ROI folder.
Was using the latest map update. Can someone please mail it to me.
Thanks.
ETA: If you have backed your device up the copy will be in my documents. |

How do you know it's corrupt? It's quite a large file and I'm not sure you'll be able to transfer that file from one unit to another just like that. Also you'll probably need to say which specific map you are using as it seems to vary in size from map to map.
It might be better to explain what happens when you switch the unit on and see if there is something else that can be suggested. |

Ok, basically I'm running the Uk & ROI map. I backed up on TT Home - newest version. I tried to restore and get an error message halfway through. It turns out that the cline.dat file is corrupt (tried manually copying it over from the backup file in my documents) so cannot restore. All other files are on there ok. |

Mike A has confirmed that if you get the cline.dat file from the EXACT same map version it should copy over ok, but you need to specify exactly which map you are using... |

I used TT home 2.6 and upgraded to the newest possible UK & ROI IQ routes map yesterday (Sat). IN TT Home when I click on help then system info it shows the device has map/UK & ROI v 830.2305 installed.
Hope this helps. |

I am based in Leeds.
Alternatively someone could upload it to Rapidshare or similar and PM me the link? |

Yeeeesssss! It works again! I did as suggested in the other thread -'corrupted IQ routes western europe' version.
I windows copied all files except the cline.dat to a memory stick, copied the backup cline.dat to the memory stick and formatted the device before re-copying everything back over.
Thanks to everyone that tried to help.
I'm off to windows explorer back-up again!

But didn't you say in the first post that it was the BACKUP version of the actual file that was corrupted?
As I said in the other topic, it looks like it is only these EXTRA reported corrupt files that stop the copy and paste from working if you try to do everything at once. Do it bit by bit and all should be OK. |

Yeah, sorry it was saying it was corrupt when copying and pasting but I noticed it copied to a memory stick so figured it was teh TT that was the prob. |

For any file that is too large to e.mail just go to www.YouSendit.com where you can send any file size up to 100 meg for free ! been using them for 2 or 3 years now, dead simple and works |
