I used the M60 from J21 to 18 today and noticed quite a few gatsos on it. I have added one which I don't think you have on your map (althouygh they might have already been reported) - I missed 2 others (someone else can take the credit).
The reason for the post is that I don't know if this is weekend work or not. The cameras looked quite permanent - but I don't normally drive down there during the week, so I can't tell.
Will someone be checking them at weekends or during the week?

I guess the message in bold at the top of the camera submission page kinda explains whats going on around that area, but if you have found cameras that are not currently included in the database all well and good as they still need submitting, roadworks such as these tend to get cameras in different positions from time to time - Mike |

There were definitately cameras there which are not in this weeks database. I managed to make favourites of 4 of them and uploaded one to your reporting system - I can't remember which of the others were accurate which is why I didn't report them myself.

They are not in this week's database because they were moved on Wednesday. There were two on the 19-21 northbound stretch on Friday which now show on the submission map. If there are more now I should pick them up on Monday. I'm driving that way every week day at the moment to keep an eye on what's happening.
But they'll probably have moved again by Wednesday as they move the area they are surveying. See details here. Which I see has been updated to say the roadworks are going to continue for another 2 weekends into August. |

I drove up and down the whole stretch from J27 to the M62 twice today, and could only see the two temp cameras on the northbound carriageway at J19 and J20. If you can submit those other locations you saw I will check them again, but I'm pretty sure there aren't any other cameras there now. They are moving these cameras around very quickly. |

Don't make a special trip, I'm sure they're gone, but just post those locations even if they are approximate, and I'll check. |

A submission has appeared on the verifier map which I assume is yours, but there's nothing at that point now. I'm sure it will all change again tomorrow or Thursday. |

I didn't get a chance to check today - I may be able to have a wander out tomorrow (it's always nice to get a ride on the bike)

Went out tonight and I can confirm that there are now only 2 cameras in that area and it matches what you already have in your database.
But there were about 6 the other day - HONEST!!!

Now you know why they have a "bat" symbol on the posts.
These SPECs cameras flit about all over the place, often at night! |

I believe you, I do. I think they know we issue a new database on a Wednesday so they wait until then before they move them. Those two will be gone as well tomorrow, I'll bet. |

lancashire's cheap, tehy can't afford specs, just gatso's and only a few that they have to keep moving around while no one is looking!!

Won my bet. On northbound side this morning, moved over to southbound this evening. |
