You need to subscribe to our speed camera database, then you can add them to your TomTom. TomTom needs no mods to support speed camera data? _________________ Darren Griffin |

You weren't dreaming. POICapture is what you're thinking of. But sadly, TomTom disabled the function in recent device software versions, so if your device software is recent, I guess you've had it.
It wasn't quite as simple as you recall it, but very useful nevertheless and a sad loss. TomTom withdrew the SDK (whatever that is) to stop it being used. _________________ Dennis

Now that "POICapture" no longer works, there are still lots of ways to store camera positions, so you can add them to your device and also send them off to PGPSW.
Have a look at THIS TOPIC. Ignore the fact that the heading says "storing cameras on a 940 - it works for ALL TomToms.
(Mods - any way to lose the "940" bit off that title?) |
