Navman 3400 & Tomtom 3

Hi all im new to this so forgive me if i have asked questions which have already been answered before.

Firstly i have a Ipaq 5450 and a navman 3400.

I cant get tomtom working on my set up. I have recently installed it and i cant seem to get a fix on an anything, i left my ipaq and navman in my garden for 2 hours yesterday and still nothing so i guess i have set something up wrong.

I have installed the serial driver 3.1.6 and the new navman rom. I think what is wrong is that i have got the wrong settings on the gps page of tomtom. At the moment its set up as "tomtom navigator gps" and "serial port 1". Are these right?

Also i have smartst installed on the ipaq too and this works fine.

Is there an issue with having both of them installed together?

No issue with them both being on the device so long as you don't try to run them at the same time.

The older Tomtom drivers used to have a Navman sleeve driver in the options. This would be the one to use.
