|
|
I bought a TomTom One last year with the UK Maps on it. A while back, a contractor from germany gave me an SD card from his TomTom (don't know which model), with European maps on it.
Is there any way I can transfer the European maps from the SD card onto my TomTom One?
Thanks. |

Welcome to the forum, maps are locked to the device so they will not work when cards are "transplanted" if you want full European Mapping for your device then you would need to purchase a new map - Mike |

Thanks.
Is there any way to 'unlock' the maps? As the TomTom One does not have an SD slot on it, I was thinking I could just transfer the European directory on the SD card to the relevant place in the TT One's directory structure. |

Nope that simply wouldn't work, also depending upon the version of TomTom One you have, you might find there is inadequate flash memory in the device to actually accept the larger European maping files - Mike |
