I purchased a XL Live IQ Routes which comes with a map of great britain and the republic of ireland v6.75. When I try and activate it I'm asked for the product code but there was nothing in the box like a card or CD with a product code on it. Does anyone know where the product code is usually found for this device? |

Where did you buy it from?
Maps, for some time now, have required an Activation File that is downloaded (with the Map), via HOME. _________________ Richard

XL IQ Live was first shipped with V825 maps, the 675 map is way out of date for that device and pre-dates IQ Routes so that function won't work.
Is this your second or third TomTom? if so did you register it with Home using a unique e-mail address to that used on any earlier devices you might have owned. Re-using an old e-mail address from an earlier device can often cause Home to throw a wobbler and download a V675 map that won't work on the unit - Mike |

My mistake guys sorry. This must be the map from my old TomTom which I copied over by accident when copying POIs and then confused myself by thinking it was one that was delivered with it. Obviously I don't expect to be able to use a map from another device. |
