I've installed Memeory Map Pocket Navigator onto my Ipaq PDA. All is working OK except the elevation data.
I'm using Explorer Maps, 2004 editions and the Europe.qed elevation data from the Memory Map web site.
Can anyone tell me where I should save the qed file on my pocket pc and how to get it recognised and working with the maps.

Hi,
Rename the Europe.qed file with the same name as the map.qct file you want to use and put it in the same location as the .qct file on the PDA. The elevation data is only associated with the map of the same name. However, the Europe map only contains "spot elevations" on about a 1km grid, so the interpolation of intermediate points is rather poor.
It would be better, to copy the .qed files associated with your 2004 maps directly from PC to PDA. In general, maps (and .qed files) can be located anywhere on the PDA and MM will find them.

It's works fine with the PC maps
Thanks
If you use "send map" from the PC to the PDA, then the required portion of the QED file will be exported also.
