can't get full postcode to work on 930T

Hi, I' new here. After using a Trafficmaster Smartnav for the last 3 years I have just got a tomtom 930t because of car change.
I can't seem to get the full postcode working. After I enter the first 3 characters it goes to looking for streets etc.
It will let me enter full postcode, but seems to ignore the last 4 characters.
Am I doing something wrong?
I tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything on here.

Are you entering the postcode in the correct section:

Navigate to/ Address/ Postcode

If so make sure there is a folder named "zip" with a four files contained within it, if this is missing you can use Home to add the postcode data to the device - Mike

Have a look in the \zip folder of your TT. There should be two files in it:

Great_Britain.Postal and Great_BritanPostal.ver

Open the .ver file and see if it has this in it:

version=801


This shows that you have the latest version of the Postcode files. If version=701 then you need to get the newer one from TomTom. Here

Thanks guys, works a treat now. Zip folder was missing.
