Is the upgrade worth it?

I currently have a TomTom One. It has WE maps v7.1.

Each year before I do my annual trip to the continent, I tend to update my maps.

My TT One is now quite long in the tooth, so was wondering whether it's worth upgrading?

I'm looking at the 730 with 2yr free map upgrades. I've seen these for around £250.

Will I notice a great deal of difference in the running/speed of the unit and the maps? Are there any other advantages? I did like the extra utils I could download for the One (Suntime etc).

I know the thinner unit and bigger screen will be nice.

Just wanted some advice really. The new map will cost me £50?
