|
|
Hi are there any alternative software packages that can convert video files to the appropriate format to play on a TT 530, other than Mobilnova? A free product would be ideal. I have mobilnova but its locked to my previous device and I've since bought the 530. |

Naresh,
Since you said you have Mobilnova and it is locked to a previous device if you want to save some money you can also try the free TomPlayer to view videos on your 530.
You can use software such as SUPER or PocketDivxEncoder to convert your video files.
I would recommend PocketDivxEncoder as it is very easy to use.
I would also try wrapping the encoded videos in a Matroska video container MKV file to save on some space. |

Thanks Malouff, so assuming I install TomPlayer what format do I need to convert the videos to - MP4, avi etc? Is there also an easy way to rip a DVD to a small file size? I'm planning on buying an 8GB card to store them on and also use whilst travelling on the train. |

Nidesoft Video Converter is a powerful video conversion software which could convert video and audio files between all popular formats such as convert AVI to MP4, MP3 to WAV, WMV to MPEG, MOV to AAC, etc. |
