I have a Nuvi 750 that I just purchased. I'd like to export the log of a trip to my PC for use with geotagging photos and posting to google maps, etc. Is there any way to do that? I see a lot of posts talking about using mapsource to do it, but the only link to mapsource on Garmin's website is just an update, and requires that you already have mapsource installed (moronic).
I have a 100% legal nuvi 750 that came with north american maps. Is there no 3rd party software that can extract trips? Given that the entire filesystem on the nuvi appears available from a USB cable, I'm surprised this sort of thing hasn't been hacked up a long time ago.
Am I just failing in my search-fu? Anyone have any suggestions? |

I think google Earth can open a .GPX file which contains your trip logs. |

A free copy of Mapsource is apparently available from the link to the Garmin Training database within this post.
