Keeping POI warnings before map update

When i do a map update on tomtom go300 the speed camera POI warnings are reset and i have to set them up again.
I have found how to save favourites as it wipes them too, but i cannot find how to keep my pocketgpsworld camera warning settings

Can anyone help please?

MapSettings.cfg is the file that contains the POI alert settings, but recent updates have prevented this file from working with the new software and maps. You can try copying this file from an old map file to the new one, but it can cause problems when you boot up the device - Mike
