TomTom GO 940 Live mystery icon

have just got a 940 Live...and all works well....BUT

Afte about 30 mins of driving I get a Red triangle warning box in top left corner with pic of a car in it and for want of a better description wiggly lines radiating out from it, but can find nthing about it.

I have the tomtom camera alerts disabled as am using the PGSW database.

For info this icon appeared as I got close to the Brunel roundabout in Slough and on Prestwick Road in South Oxhey

There is no auible warning just this icon that stays there.

Does anybody have any suggestions of what this is...or where I could look (And I have tried the manual Laughing

)

I take it you are not referring to the Traffic Incident Rain symbol as shown on P81 of the manual (pdf version)?

I think that may be a live service warning of icy road conditions. There is a hole bunch of hazards which are flagged up in reported areas as they happen.

Yes it is the Rain symbol.

Thanks for that...I will now slope off to a corner and read the online guide

Nothing to feel stupid about, it is not obvious when you first see it and as you cannot make out what it is (well not with my eyesight), it is rather hard to look it up. I did not know what it was the first time I saw it.
