Hi when loading pois do i paste the whole folder ive saved them in to the map on my tomtom or do i open my folder and copy the contents then just paste the contents in my map folder on my tomtom? its a tomtom 920t many thanks. |

Open the folder and paste the contents into your map folder.
Have you taken a backup using Windows Explorer? If not do so now before doing anything else. _________________ Paul |

yes ive got a backup i did from brand new,thats the only one im going to do,so if anything goes wrong i can revert back to factory condition |

I agree that you should keep your original backup. Why not burn it onto a cd/dvd?
Once you have been playing for a while you will also want to backup regularly. There is room to store many backups on your PC. You should backup before any software upgrade so that you can go back a step if you need to.
Backup using Windows Explorer not TomTom Home.
Did your POIs work when you copied them into your map folder? _________________ Paul |
