Lost serial

Just about to get the TT£ upgrade..
but have managed to loose the original CD case for TT2 Evil or Very Mad

Is the serial number embedded anywhere in PC or PPC??
please say it is.. pretty please Sad

is a text file that contains the serial number

I tore my house apart looking for the original disk yesterday and can't find it Sad

I found an old post on here that mentioned the .axs file. Entered thecode from that in the tomtom upgrade page and it said it wasn't activated. It gave a link to activate it, so I tried that and it said the code wasn't valid ...gutted! I don't know what I'm gonna do now Sad

I'm afraid the .axs file contains the activation code not the product code. I'd be quite surprised if the product code is stored anywhere on the device or PC.

On my PC the product, device and activation codes are all stored in the registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\TomTom\Setup\Ttn2gb\ActCodes

However this will only all appear if you activated online during your first installation, otherwise you will only see the product code.
