Help!
Sometimes after my 520 makes an announcement e.g. "Turn Right Into Bleaker Street" instead of returning to playing music from a SDHC card I get nothing
Pressing right on the BT remote says "No Track" and if I navigate via the menus to the player it says nothing is playing.
I can start music playing again and it will be okay for quite a time...
It just seems to be some announcements that causes the playlist to empty.
I have not managed to see any error message...
Any ideas?

Which method are you using to output the audio from the x20? - I have had similar when using the Bluetooth HiFi link but not too often - Mike |

Hi,
Just using ordinary "Audio Out" socket on unit bottom connected to "AUX In" on my car radio....

Still no ideas
As a test I have copied a limited amount of music to the units internal memory and will see today if that works any better.....

My 520 Music Edition does not show this problem. I have copied .mp3 files to a folder called 'mp3' without the quotes on a 2GB SD Card in the device, using Windows Explorer to do the copy.
Audio from both the TTS voice and Jukebox is set to go via the external cable to the AUX input on the car stereo and it works fine, pausing the music while the announcement is made and then continuing to placy the track.
I don't use Playlists as such, I just start playing an album or select a track from an album or by artist.
It works in just the same way when playing Audible audiobooks uploaded to the SD Card using Audible Manager.
Have you tried a pin reset, just to see if there's been a bit of s glitch. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |

Still having problems with music
It seemed to be okay from the internal memory but now trying my larger collection on a 8Gb SDHC card which I see now shows up in TTH with the newest sputterware...
Anyway I think it only quits playback if is about at the end of the track it is playing when it makes an announcement....
Then the playback list is empty...
