Best way to wipe a TT720 hard drive

Can anyone advise best way to clear a TT drive, as I need to paste in my back up (inc hidden files); trying a straight paste produces message, that there's not enough drive space

Do I format drive, or select all files & simply delete?

Better to do a Format. You can delete the files first if you want, but the Format 'deletes' them anyway.
