TomTom 730 Errors

I started getting the "unable to save map setting - file access error" and my unit would constantly crash.

I attempted to restore my device to how it was when I first bought it but got the following error:

I would suggest that you connect the device to your PC and run chkdsk to recover any file system errors on the Tomtom (this was proabably your original problem).

Then restore to whatever backup you have. Is it a "Home" backup or an "explorer" backup?
