The TT720 specs quote a battery duation of "up to 5 hours". Now, I can get nothing like this on mine, more like 2 hours if I am lucky. I realise that it depends on the screen use and I have quite a bit of text and audible commands enabled.
Just interested what others have found with this model?
Before anyone shouts me down, yes I know I should use the car charger and not rely on the battery. On a long run this is what I do but I still can't see how TT can claim up to 5 hours use.

2 Hours sounds about right to me, although there are also options to turn the screen off between instructions and disabling the Bluetooth and FM Transmitter will enhance battery duration.

I have never seen 5 Hours, in fact the last time I used my 720 in a hire car with deffective ciggy socket I managed 45 minutes before the device died - Mike

I drive quite a few different vehicles in my job and my TT720 died after 45 mins when I failed to notice that the pathetic green light hadn't lit up cos of a duff cig lighter socket.
