Is their a way on iGo 8 to disable the tone notification that beeps just prior to some instruction being given.
In version 6 you could turn this off but I can't see any way to on version 8???

I believe if you add this to sys.txt it will work:
[sound]
ding=0
But you must add it to both versions of sys.txt, one on the device and one on the SD Card.
Other alternatives are:
ding=1
ding=2

Yay that did it, I only did it to the sys.txt file within the iGo folder though?

Then if you reinstall you will lose the setting.
