Gryff,
Memory-Map V5 5.2.7 (the latest version) is compatible with the Garmin Colorado 300 GPS.
You can transfer Routes, Tracks, and Waypoints.
Thanks

I find this confusing.
Can we clear it up?
'MM-Support' are you saying that we can load the maps to the Colorado or:-.............
Quote: | You can transfer Routes, Tracks, and Waypoints. |
to Memory-Map on the PC?
Thank you. |

Using Memory-Map V5 5.2.7 you can transfer Routes, Tracks, and Waypoints to and from the Garmin Colorado 300.
You cannot transfer maps.
Thanks

MM-Support- I thought he cleared up the confusion.
You cannot use MM maps on a colorado, or Fugawi.
I use Fugawi on the iQue - FANTASTIC. |

Can I send Waypoints and tracks to a Colorado using MM 2004 v 4.4.3 ?
I havn't got one, so can't try it!
I can sucessully export a route and import it into Mapsource - so presume that's the long way round getting ampsource data in to the Colorado |

Generally:- if your mapping s/w exports .GPX files then you can simply copy these to your C300 and they will work. That's waypoints, routes etc.
The latest firmwear on the C300 supports use of the Garmin Spanner application which provides serial communications over the USB port - so it may be possible to use MM V4 (although I have never tried it - that is V4 MM).
I would expect that MM V4 wouldn't recognise the C300 - but you may be able to transfer data anyway. _________________ Phil |

Thanks.
I'm not too worried about instant transfer - just that it gets there!
