Navman/iNS software incompatability

I now discover that buying a navman Jacket to replace my broken iNS one was a mistake as the software/firmware isnt compatible. Is there a fix so that I can run pocket Copilot3 on an ipaq with a Navman jacket?

Sorry Phil, but I think you'll find that the Co-Pilot software is locked to the INS sleeve.

Sadly they're incompatible. iNS Software is locked to the iNS jackets which contained a modified ROM allowing this to be verified.

Whilst you can use an iNS jacket with other software you can't use other GPS receivers of any kind with the iNS software.

Having said that, iNS is getting a little long in the tooth so it may be time to upgrade to either CoPilot v4 which is the latest incarnation of iNS or an alternative such as Navman's SmartST or TomTom Navigator.
