poi for sony units please nav-u83

as a newbie i need to know if i can obtain poi files that i can load onto the nav-u83 unit as it only gives me 10 choices locally? any help appreciated

Do you know (or can you find out from the manual or website) if it:
1. can support "user-POIs"?
2. If it does, what format file does it use?

It probably uses the .ovm format used by other Sony satnavs. If so, THIS POST suggests there is a special version of 'POI Warner' for Sony gear.

thanx for your reply i cannot find any reference in manual to poi nor on rubbish website!! really confused and wished i'd never bought it !!
