Windscreen Glare

Hi All
I have been a member since March & have enjoyed all the forums that I have entered into & read. The knowledge & info I have learned has helped me tremendously. Keep up the good work.

As we approach May & the world is coming out of its winter sleep & the sun is trying to come out, how do you long time PDA & GPS owners cope with glare from windscreens, affecting the ability to view your PDA. Apart from moving it, from the windscreen to a position down by the gear stick. 8)
Has anyone got any answers? Is there any after sales gizmo like 3 way barn doors that you can strap onto your PDA to cut down the glare? I have also looked in your DIY Mount section but nothing.
Anyone got any ideas or do I have to put my engineering head on & come up with an answer myself.

Good quality screen protectors help a lot. I've got a Pocket PC Techs' WriteSHIELD on my iPAQ 3970, which is somewhat antireflective as well as protecting the screen and still leaving a good stylus feel.

No bubbles at all, you can clean it with Scotch magic tape (read the instructions), and even though I use my Pocket PC heavily, I'm still on my first. The Deluxe pack, if you can get it for your machine, has an excellent cleaning spray and extra cleaning cloth that I use both on my Pocket PC and on my expensive Dell flat panel monitor.

I should have said I have one fitted. But It still is an issue for me.
