Camera Reporting - TomTom 920

Recently upgraded my TomTom GO 920 to 8.010 and spotted the option in Quick Menu to select "Report camera". I did this and on the map screen it now allows me to Report a speed camera (fixed or mobile). A report.cam file is created in the TomTom statdata folder.

How does this work as it is not covered in the TomTom V7 or V8 manual?

Can I send this file in to report a safety camerato PocketGPSWorld?

That's to report a new camera to TomTom themselves for their own database.
It will automatically get uploaded to them next time you connect to Home, unless you delete it.
.... and that's where the problems begin. There's no obvious "delete" or "undo" button!

Apparently, if you mark a position while driving and then drive past the same spot and report it again you get the option to delete. Not very clever though.

Any data in that file is encrypted and is no use to PGPSW.
But there are several other ways to mark locations for this database.
