Is it me or is it down? I do have an internet connection as am emailing and browsing fine!

You know it takes ages? It often sits on the "checking for updates" page for several minutes. (During which time the CPU load often shoots up to about 99% and everything else grinds to a halt!)
Having said that, I was trying it as I wrote the above... it got as far as telling me there was a software version waiting for me (I know! I don't want it thanks! ) and it was still searching for Mapshare updates, when the screen went blank and Home seems to have crashed. |

I just get the checking for updates page with the abort button flashing occasionally then it tells me I don't have an internet connection. Have to say its the first time i've had a prob. thought the map update went to well in the end!! |

Confirmed...
As usual it is telling me that *I* haven't got an internet connection, as if it's *my* fault... when as we all know, 99% of the time it's a problem at their end.
However - I ignored that screen and the GPSQuickfix and the Software update were still on the previous screen. So i accepted the Quickfix and it downloaded fine! |
