Hi All,
I was wondering, is there a way you can get a planned route from the tomtom put into a file ( kml ) to be read into google so you can see your planned route in Google. ?
If not the Tomtom, is there a site which can do this?
I can get journies ive done into google, but not the ones i have planned!
Cheers

You can save an itinerary file on the tomtom then load it with PoiEdit and save it as a kml file.
This may not give you what you want as the route between the points in the kml file will be chosen by google rather than tomtom.
How are you getting the journeys you've done into google? |

Hi Mate,
Umm using POIedit did exactly what i expected, nothing.
I created a ITN file, which had my start and destination in it only, i created a kml file with poiedit, and imported it into google.
google then only gave me the pinpoints as expected.
am i missing something here, which joins the dots up and forms a suggested route?
incidently, i also just noticed the direction tab option in google earth, and this actually worked very well, gave me the exact route as my tt.
the only other thing now would be to see if i can get it to go via another option!
Cheers

What about Tyre? Downloaded from here?
That will allow you to transfer waypoints from the tomtom into google maps and plan a route between them. |
