Setting Favourites from TomTom Home 2

I am just setting my points for the summer holiday from Latitude/Longitude as favourites by using TomTom Home 2 to control the device (TomTom GO700) as it is easier to put in the details on the computer keyboard than on the mini keyboard onboard.

However doing it this way I find I am unable to type in anythijng but lower case characters and am unable to CAPITALISE where I would normally want to do so.

I know that I can use Capitals by re-setting the name on the TomTom, but is there a way to make TomTom Home use capitals as I want it to or am I stuck with it?

Use a custom POI file to store the locations as you can control what goes on with these and it will allow far more points to be stored - Mike

Lack of capitals from the keyboard shift key is another bit of poor programming in Home. You have to click with the mouse on the on-screen "up arrow" that you would normally use if you were trying to get capitals on the machine itself.
