Accessing MP3's stored on teh SD card of the Tom TOm 730T

I have a Tom Tom 730T, As most of the internal hard disk is taken up by map data, I put a number of MP3 files onto an SD card and plugged this in. But the Tom Tom does not see them. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get the tom tom to play the MP3 files on teh SD card. It works fine if I copythem into the Music folder of the tom tom's hard drive but I can only get about two albums on there.
