|
|
Just bought the Navigon (PND) 2200.
I've trawled thorough the Forum(s) but cannot find out if the 2200 can accept the downloaded Speedcamera DB. The list of products supported (in the DB pages) does not include the Navigon series.
Question: Should I take it back? (or is it possible to upload the info via an 'Excel' download? _________________ hcl

The Navigon software requires the POI Warner add on software to use the database, details can be found Here
It will cost you for the software, so if you are considering taking the device back to the shop factor this in with the purchase price against the retail price of a system that supports camera warning such as TomTom or Garmin - Mike |

Most Navigon units need the third party plugin 'POIWarner' in order to use speed camera database data from a 3rd party. I say 'most' as some recent models do not support 3rd party data at all.
You can check if your model is supported by visiting www.navigating.de. If it is then you would need to buy and install the plug-in and then we can support you.

"Recent models" include those running MN7 - if yours is running this version then note that navigating.de are shortly releasing a suitable version of POIWarner (see other Navigon thread) _________________ David
