Unfortunately, POIs are just points in space on the map rather than routes.
There are plenty of POIs that are useful to caravanners (such as Caravan Club sites, etc.) but the TomTom (and I think most if not all other satnav brands) cannot be set up to avoid ALL entries in a POI category.

So, for example, if you had a very wide caravan, you could probably download a set of "width restriction" POIs from somewhere, but you would not be able to set up a route to avoid all of them. You could only get the satnav to WARN you when you approach one.

It's advisable to check with the Caravan Club site map for the final directions to a site entrance, as TomTom can often try to take you via a different route that is not suitable for your width and length.
There is on in the New Forest that TomTom will insist in bringing you in from the South, over a bridge the is just wide enough for the car but not the van. The correct route is in from the East.
