Backing up tomtom 720

Before I go out and buy a 720 I wanted to check how easy it is to do the necessary backup of the unit on the computer. As my computer skills are to say the least basic I don't want to balls it up just trying to make it safe to start with. Does it come with instructions on how to back up?

The 720 comes with a usb dock to sit it in. Connect the USB cable from it to your computer. Turn on your 720 it will ask if you want your computer to connect to it. Select Yes on the 720. On your computer open Windows Explorer and you will see TomTom showing as a drive under 'My computer'. Click on it and contents will show on right pane of screen. Highlight everything in there and copy and paste to a safe location on your PC.
