This is probably a daft question but I haven't come across it berfore so...
I've read about how lots of people are using Mapsource, so I thought I would download it to see what it can do for me.
On trying to run it though, it's coming up with a message along the lines of 'There are no other Mapsource products installed' and won't run.
I have a Nuvi 760 and 360, so am wondering what I should have installed to allow me to use Mapsource? |

Mapsource is only a means of showing the mapping software [on your PC] that you buy and load from a DVD.
Without the mapping software you are wasting your time, except for manipulating your waypoints! |

OK, makes sense (I think).
760 has up to date maps, and I've never bothered updating the maps on the 360, and maybe never will now that I've upgraded. |
