Well, the PocketGPSWorld database is more accurate, updated more often and offers a Free Lifetime Subscription to Subscribers who are
The first subscriber to accurately report a new fixed site.
The first subscriber to accurately report a change to an existing fixed site i.e. change of type, correction of location, move etc.
The first subscriber to accurately report a permanent removal of an existing fixed site.
The first subscriber to report a speed correction or submission of speed data where none previously existed for a fixed site.
New subscriber reports of Mobile sites will also now qualify BUT because such sites are very difficult to verify, it should be noted that validation may take significantly longer than for other types of site.
Does TomTom match that? |

I think you need to do a little research.
If you did you will soon learn that £19 for a "Rolls Royce" model is a very good deal.
£16.60 for a trabant, and even thats being kind!! it's your choice.
If you want to give TomTom your money, go ahead.
You will find their safety camera database is rather inferior to the PGPSW one. |

paul beat me to it but i was going to say the same as him...!
BUT add to that, with the PGPSW subscription you also get access to EVERY database across around 40 countries such as uk, usa, australia, hong kong, malta, france, italy, holland for one single subscription... AND it can be installed on more than one device in the same household.. AND by subscribing you can enter into regular competitions for loads of GPS goodies
do tomtom, garmin, navman etc match that?

If your asking for it for £16.60 i would say yes that is a NO in my opion it is well worth the £19 a year and after my first year of paying i would have gladley paid more i was lucky after paying for my second year i got life so dont have to pay any more but as said there is a lot more than just the speed cams any probs you might have or come across you will normily get help in some form within a hour thats better than any support i have ever had with tomtom |

And have you considered the possibility that TomTom have dropped their price to compete with us?
I would honestly rather do without than rely on TomTom's database, it's so bad its almost criminal!
If you don't want to choose ours then you are of course free to do so, buy cheap and pay twice is a motto my parents used to repeat at regular intervals as I grew up and it often proved true. _________________ Darren Griffin |

AND asking to price match such an inferior product.
I'll ask retailer A to price match a GO930 for the price retailer B is selling a ONE, shall I?
Surely, price matching should only be expected when you're comparing like for like, not different products.
Price difference = £2.40
Speeding ticket = £60 + 3 points _________________ Andy
