Hi! We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Since the latest software update on my G0720, there is a problem with the navigation. Basically, when you first switch the machine on, if your first " navigate to " is a POI, then on subsequent "navigate to" if its to another POI then no problem, however if you are trying to navigate to a street then you just get a message saying "one moment please..."
Similarly if when you first switch on you navigate to a street then no problem, however if you then try to navigate to a POI then you get the same message"one moment please...".
You have to press the reset button on the machine to switch from navigating to POI's, to navigating to streets, and vice versa.
Interestingly, using tomtom via home, it all works fine.
OK i've just read the sticky about this that i should have read in the first place. Sorry.
Have downloaded v7.221 from oldboys website. How do i install it??

Yes, you've found a known fault with v7.480 software.
It's been discussed on here quite a bit already.
TomTom are aware of it (although they haven't bothered to pull it from the automatic download system), and they suggest to revert to v7.221 from a backup.
If you haven't got a backup (why on earth not?) there is a download link for it in one of the other topics where this is being discussed.
The search button is your friend.
