I want to sell (transfer) my Tom Tom Go to my son and hand over to him the hard ware and soft ware complete.. (as is my right as the owner...)
The question is -- does he have to register the transfer... or continue using MY name on all future upgrades etc.. ??
Who is the owner of the sofware when I have sold it to him ?? _________________ Happy to meet -- Sorry to part -- Happy to meet again |

Why not Log On to TomTom site as yourself. Change all your My Profile details as necessary to reflect the change of ownership.
As the process is automated, all future dealings will be with the new owner, as will all the Product Details. _________________ Richard

Has anyone done this and will it work ok?
I've got a Go 720 ordered. If I sell my old PDA/Nav 6 setup, is this likely to cause me any problems activating the new Go? And will it cause the new owner any problems? _________________ TT Go Essential |

Has anyone done this and will it work ok? | Well .... I changed my email address and the 910 has followed me.

Then think about the PDA as a separate issue. _________________ Richard

When I bought a TTG720 my son had my GO300 (he used it most!). All I did was to delete it from my TomTom account, and then register my new device. My son could then register HIS device in his own email account with TomTom.
