Wireless data costs depend on your service provider, if you have an all in bundle then fine, if not then you will get charged by the Mb. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Ah ok. In that case no. if you are using your home connection then there would be no additional charge.
But what are you updating? To update the device you would need to connect to a PC via Tomtom HOME? _________________ Darren Griffin |

No, you mentioned Safety Cameras but did not mention if these cameras were the one supplied as part of a TomTom subscription or the ones we supply on subscription. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Your original question was about charges for updates via your phone, so we thought you meant connection charges.
To update things like software is free from TomTom.
However, their Camera Database is a subscription service and costs (I think) £20 per year.
Once you have paid for the service, you would get updates via Home, in a similar way as you get the free Map Share updates.
Most people who know about it prefer the alternative Database from here, though. Slightly cheaper and MUCH better. |
