How do I get the Tomtom software on to my N95? I already have a Tomtom One v3 but to be able to use it on the phone would save a lot of messing about. Also how much does it cost?

Search box - "Tomtom N95" - gives 81 hits to look at.

Quote:
To install, you need to plug the phone in and select Data Transfer on the phone, NOT PC Suite and then it can be installed onto the Mass Storage.

Issues -
Quote:
TomTom do not support the N95 offically, but it works a treat

Quote:
Internal GPS receiver on the N95 is not supported so you'll need to use a BT receiver.

Funnily enough I did a search before you replied and found a lot more than 81 hits.... to be honest I'm not the sort of person that lives and breathes this sort of thing, I have lots of other interests and hobbies and a full time job. I accept that you must get lots of what must seem like repetitive trivial questions but the search results were like Chinese (Symbian??) I was actually asking for something like :-

1 - Download software from wherever
2 - Install on phone
3 - Buy Bluetooth adapter

Or Whatever.......

Everyone has to start somewhere Very Happy

OK.
I hope you find what you're looking for.

I too have a full time job... I'm actually at it at the moment having done a six day week and wasted my breaks trying to help people here.

But tomorrow I'm off abroad to indulge in one of MY other interests and hobbies, its 25 degrees there, so I hope it rains wherever you are.

Support for installation and information pertaining to a suitable BT GPS receiver will be possible, asking for "downloads" of maps and software is against the rules, unless of course you want to download the whole lot from TomTom - software piracy is not something we support or allow on this site neither will we allow users to post links to sources of such content.

Keep within the rules and you will get advice, stray outside of the guidelines and expect the retort you got earlier today - Mike

I hadn't even twigged the "download the software from somewhere" bit.

I didn't even just say "do a search". I actually did one myself (I always do), read some of the posts, picked out a few points that I thought were relevant and quoted them, thinking I was being helpful.

Only to be told I should get a life....

It must be a sixth sense you have developed, I hope it doesn't rain where you are tripping off to as it might be a tad difficult using Swan Vestas or Bryant & May Wink - enjoy the trip, I used to enjoy that sort of thing - Mike
