I seem to have my custom poi's on my SD card, and in the Nuvis internal memory. When I list them on the Nuvi screen I get them listed twice.
I've tried to delete them from the internal memory via POI loader but I get a message saying that 'there is a problem run POI loader again'. I only get the same message again if I re run it.
Can I connect it to my computer and delete a particular file to eliminate this duplication?
Thanks Keith. |

Delete POI.GPI and ONLY that file. Carefully.
I believe it's in Garmin/POI.
Also try removing the card and then running POILoader to clear them from the Internal Memory. Can you get a card reader to clear the card? |

I've just deleted the file and it's cured the problem. ( I saved a copy first - just in case ).
Thanks Keith. |

Further to my previous posts - I followed Pauls instruction and deleted the poi.gpi file. This cured the problem. When the Nuvi was started up, it re wrote another poi.gpi file with 0bytes, but the problem did not return.
Thanks Keith. |

I've had this message a couple of times and it seems that a manual blat of that file is the quickest and easiest fix. |
