Can a Mitac 339 be used to accept GPS?

I have been given a task by my better half to get her pda up and running as a sat nav, but I fear I'm in for a hard time. She has had a Mitac 339 for a couple of years and loves it to bits, but it is quite weak when it comes to comms, ie no bluetooth. I have a dell x50v with Navigon 6 and a bluetooth gps receiver, which works brilliantly, and she wants to have what I got, so am I clutching at straws? All suggestions welcomed.
