TT7 V TT6

At the moment I use a handheld with TT6 in my 20ft nearly 10ft tall panel van conversion.

I am wondering what advantages, if any, I would get from upgrading to TT7?

Is version 7 any better at selecting suitable routes for larger vehicle?

Finally are there any other makers of sat navs that are better with larger vehicles?

Who knows, there is yet no TT7 to upgrade to.

The only type of version 7 is on hardware devices such as the TomTom Go and TomTom 1. At the moment you get newer maps for these devices and in my view they are better devices than handhelds if navigation is your only requirement.

I had a gut feeling that this may be the case as i could not find anything about it.

I am totally confused by the vast number of different devices on sale by the different manufacturers.
