Hi All,
I have a 920, when I put it in the dock I always get the error
"sam server received an unexpected error"
then I report anonymously, go to the start page of TT Home and it appears to work ok, is anyone else getting this error, it happens on both my Laptop and Desktop PC.
Thanks in advance for any replies,

The SAM error has come up a few times. Should try putting SAM in the search function to see them. If it helps i got the SAM error alot over the christmas period and was told it was to do with TomTom's servers were busy. And i still get it now and again thats why if i am using update etc. i do it late on and i don't get any errors at all. _________________ NEW Tomtom GO 500 (hope it is good)

i started getting this all of a sudden after i updated my software and maps etc using the latest guarantee, it was fne for a day or so, then this
i am also getting sporadic "your not connected to the internet" errors, but on pressing back it then shows updates or whatever i was trying to get, like voices, and lets me download them
this latest Home (v2.2.033) feels like a very untested beta to me and we are being used as testers ... it seems way to unstable/unreliable to in anyway be described as "final and working fully" _________________ TomTom 720 with Remote

Hi To All,
thanks for all your replies, I did do a search first honest guv, but I put in the whole error, and it came up with no results, I did not put sam in on its own though.
I have now created a new account, and will see how it goes,
