|

I want to convert all my POI's (that Ive added to my Navigator 5 & 6 over the years) to CSV using the POI Manager. I feel a bit daft asking this, but where are the existing POI category files located?? Ive looked in the main file that holds the map information and can see the OV2 and .bmp files for the speed cameras, but cant find the POI's that Ive added to various categories using the TT5 (and TT6) "Manage POIs" and "Add POI's".
Are they convertable to CSV via the POI Manager/convertion download?
Many thanks |

I only really know the hardware based TomToms, but if you are using TomTom Navigator, I would have thought all your added POI categories SHOULD be in the map folder (as .ov2 data and .bmp icon files) just like the speed camera ones.
Do you have more than one map by any chance, and you're looking in the wrong one's folder?
I've never heard of POIManager, but POI Edit (http://www.poiedit.com/ is certainly capable of converting from ov2 to csv format. |

It's main purpose is to compare a Master File against another File, mainly to remove duplicates.

OOops, sorry Oldie, I did go through a phase of mentioning yours too, but the brain is failing obviously!
Got a sneaky suspicion he mentioned that it has trouble with the latest ov2 format that TT have started using though. |

Have tried using the POI manager mentioned above to convert .asc files to .csv files for my N350 but the program keeps giving error msgs saying that it found decimal degrees in the file?
Are there any other ways of converting these files? |
