Hi All,
I am in the market for a new satnav. I had a TT ONE v2 that I loved but sold when I purchased a TT 720 which I hated. It was terribly unreliable and just had to send it back as I do a lot of driving and I need something very reliable.
I am after something that is dedicated to the navigation and really don't care about any features like media players etc.
Have the latest tomtom become more reliable with updated software. I have always used to tomtom in one form or another but I am open to other makes.
Can anyone comment on the latest tomtoms or make suggestions for other reliable units. I would also like to continue to use my pocketgpsworld speed cam subscription.
.
Any advice would be very grateful _________________ Regards,

It consistently gets good reports on here, and has no extra "bells and whistles" to go wrong. |

I recently purchased a new Tomtom720 recently and the software got corrupted updating to the latest software shortly after purchase.
Unfortunately you seem to get used to how a particular make of GPS operates and looks !!! I am finding it difficult making the decision to change from a Tomtom to a garmin as I do not like the way the garmin seems to handle roundabouts
The fact is there is no perfect GPS !!if you could choose the layout of the tomtom and the stability of the garmin you would have a near perfect GPS!! but it is all down to personal preference but must admit you do no seem to get the same problems with the ONE XL perhaps that is the one I should look at |
