|
|
Hi all
Just bought a TT one XL UK and was a little disappointed to find out that it didn't have any internal memory has stated on their website.
Done a lot of research and eventually found that Version No
4500.006 has None
4500.007 has 512MB
Now I have 006 and it came with a 256MB SD Card, it all works fine but I feel a little cheated out of 256MB. I phoned customer services to ask for a bigger card and they are going to get back to me. Not holding my breathe. |

You should get what was advertised where you bought the XL from. I understand the only difference between the 006 and the 007 is that the 007 has internal memory and the 006 came with an SD card.
Though the TomTom site shows the current 007 details, it really depends on what was advertised on the site/in the shop that you bought yours from as to what to expect. _________________ Gerry

To be honest, I don't think its going to make much difference.
There's enough room in 256MB to fit any POI you want, and there's still not enough in 512MB to fit another map on.
As far as TomTom are concerned, both versions work exactly the same, so I doubt you'll get far asking for "more".
But with TT, its always worth asking though. Depending on who looks at your query, you get totally different results! |

Thanks for your thoughts, no reply yet from TomTom, doubt they'll bother. |
