TomTom One 3rd

I recently got a TomTom One 3rd edition over the holidays and despite the online manual and many websites saying i can manage my POI's and add new categories but those options are not listed in any of my menus.

Does anyone know if the TomTom One 3rd edition (American & Canada) has this feature and if so how do i activate it.

Also the online manual for the device shows this text:

Note: The Manage POIs button is only available when all menu buttons are
shown. To show all menu buttons, tap Show ALL menu options in the
Preferences menu.

However i do not even have the show all option in my preferences.
